MAHSC focuses its work across six domains and four themes.
On 1st April 2016 Great Manchester (GM) becomes the first region in the UK to have devolved control over integrated health and social care budgets totaling £6billion. The vision is to deliver the fastest and greatest improvement in the health of the 2.8M GM population; (www.gmhealthandsocialcaredevo.org.uk). Manchester Academic Health Science Centre partners are at the heart of this delivery with a shared clinical and research agenda.
