You are invited to attend one of the events being held to celebrate the successful single Manchester NIHR CRF funding application (£12.5m: 2017–2022), update you on the strategic plans for the CRF, and commemorate International Clinical Trials Day.
The plans brought together CRF sites at The Christie, CMFT, and UHSM under a single cross-organisational management structure from 1 April 2017. By encouraging a more collaborative approach, this will provide more patients with the opportunity to take part in research and drive efficiencies in the ways of working.
The session will also provide a recap on how the CRF can assist with study design and delivery, as well as supporting those aspiring to develop a research portfolio.
The free event will be of interest to:
- Principal investigators (PI)
- Clinicians interested in becoming a PI (the CRF can support you through mentorships and specific taught modules)
- Academic trainees, or medical or foundation level students interested in multi-professional training
The CRF engagement sessions are being held on the 15th, 16th or 19th May (three different venues across Manchester).
