Professor Tony Redmond

Professor Redmond is an emergency physician by background and has led medical teams to sudden onset disasters, complex emergencies and conflicts for over twenty five years. He recently led medical teams to the earthquakes in China in 2008 and Haiti in 2010.

He is Director of the UK international Emergency Trauma Register which aims to improve the training and accountability of those who respond to large scale emergencies overseas and Chairman of the Foreign Medical Teams working group at WHO.
